The American Indian and Alaskan Native communities have been historically marginalized and underserved in many areas, including education. Despite efforts to improve access to education and resources for these communities, significant disparities still exist, particularly in terms of high school graduation rates, college enrollment, and workforce participation. Many Indigenous students face barriers to success, including limited access to quality education, cultural bias, and insufficient resources. This lack of proper education not only hinders individual opportunities for Indigenous students but also perpetuates a cycle of inequality and underrepresentation in the professional world. Addressing this problem requires a comprehensive approach that prioritizes the unique needs and perspectives of Native American communities and provides them with the support and resources they need to succeed.
