Storytelling:

We can offer a workshop on storytelling and the impacts of storytelling. How have stories impacted Indigenous communities and how do stories impact us in society today? We will break down stories and offer insights into what makes great stories. We will show how students can craft together their own narratives. We crave stories because we want to mean them. Find a story that wraps everything together. Here are some of the problems students face:

  • Lack of experience/lack of confidence: Some people may not have had many opportunities to practice storytelling or may not have been exposed to good storytelling examples, which can limit their storytelling skills.

  • Poor communication skills/limited vocabulary: People who struggle with communication skills, such as speaking clearly, organizing their thoughts, or using effective body language, may also struggle with storytelling. Limited vocabulary can make it difficult for people to express their ideas and tell stories in a compelling way.

  • Fear/shyness/inability to connect: Fear or shyness can also limit storytelling skills, as people may be afraid to share personal stories or speak in front of others. Good storytelling requires the ability to connect with the audience and make them feel engaged and invested in the story. People who struggle to make connections with others may also struggle with storytelling.

Personal Brand/Marketing:

We can offer a workshop on discovering your personal brand and how to use your personal brand to succeed in life. We can show students how to find their strengths. Learn how to sell yourself in job interviews, apply for college, apply for scholarships, and many more areas in the student's lives where they can apply the information. Learning how to sell yourself.

Learn the Basics of Business:

We can offer workshops on learning about the basics of economies, the basics of accounting, and the basics of what business is all about. How does business impact communities? What types of business deals happen throughout the world? We can inspire students to open their own businesses.

Content Creation (Basic of Photo & Video):

Do students need to make videos for social media? Do students want to learn how to professionally take photos? We offer workshops on creating content creation for all social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Tik Tok, Linkedin, and more. We can show students what editing programs they can use and how to not feel so intimidated by all the technology in the content creation universe. We will learn how social media has impacted our society and how you can use social media to effectively grow your career.

Developing Academic & Professional skills through building sustainable healthy habits:

We offer workshops on how to prepare for a job interview, how to build a resume, how to write a powerful cover letter, how to start networking in the world and try to offer professional skills that a lot of Native American kids often don’t get exposure to throughout their early childhood. Networking, resume building, scholarship applications, personal statement for getting into grad school, what’s grad school like, what are the important steps to succeeding in college? Here are some of the problems students face and the solutions we try to offer throughout workshops.
